Using an analog line for 911 / Emergency calls at remote sites

If your company sends all calls out a central location (i.e. the HQ), then you may have problems when someone at a remote / satellite office makes an emergency call. You don’t want emergency responders go to the wrong address because of a mis-configured phone system. You and easily fix this by installing a cheap analog line at each remote site, and routing emergency calls out of that.
